Importance of Water Intake

The importance of drinking water is often talked about, and I often preach this to my clients, kids, family, and others.  Our brain often confuses thirst for hunger.  Therefore if you are looking to loose weight, try drinking a class of water versus eating and consuming extra calories. Ensure you are staying hydrated with water during the day to keep your fluid intake in check.

Here are several more reasons to drink more water.  So drink up!

My Journey to the Stage – Part 2

Well it’s been over 2 months since I posted any progress for my journey to the stage.  Now keep in mind, everyone has different goals.  My goals are to improve and be better than I was during my last show.  There is always room for improvement and progress to be made.  My “off season” weight so to speak will be quite different than contest prep time.

No goal was ever reached without hard work, determination, patience and positivity. Don’t get me wrong, the road may be bumpy on the way, hurdles to overcome, sacrifices to make, and perservance to hold on too but most of all, eye on the prize!

Exercise to Improve your Mood

We have all experienced those days where it starts off by sleeping in, spilling our coffee, being stuck in traffic, late for work, too many errands to do and little time for ourselves or exercise alone.  Exercise has been proven to improve your mood and reduce stress.  Let’s face it WE all have tough days, it’s how you handle and overcome those days that will make you stronger!  Take a deep breath, its just a bad day, not a bad life.

Foundation Client Transformation: Darren

Darren has been coming to Men’s Strength Training since the beginning of the year to get back into shape, increase strength, and loose weight.

Well this past month he has made some good progress as he is paying attention to his nutrition, increasing water intake daily and working hard in group training, and it shows!
